Yanliang is an Associate Research Scholar at Princeton Neuroscience Institute and a researcher in the International Brain Laboratory. Before joining Princeton in 2023, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from 2018-2022. He received his PhD in Physics from Stony Brook University in 2018. His research focus is to understand the mechanism of brain dynamics and computation across multiple scales spanning cellular, circuit, and system levels, using a combination of theoretical and computational methods, and model-driven data analysis, in close collaboration with experimentalist.
