Tuan is a postdoctoral fellow in the Engel Lab at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute. He is interested in developing manifold-learning methods to study latent dynamics and is currently investigating the dynamics underlying the coordination of stimulus representations across macaque IT face patches. After obtaining his BS in physics from MIT in 2019, he completed his PhD in Ken D Miller’s lab at Center for Theoretical Neuroscience at Columbia University in 2026.
