Iman is a graduate student at PNI. She majored in Computer Science as an undergraduate at Caltech. Co-advised by Tatiana Engel and Tim Buschman, she is interested in understanding how artificial and biological neural networks compositionally reuse computations across tasks for efficient generalization. Prior to joining PNI, she spent two years as a research software engineer, developing open-source software to identify high-level causal relations from fine-grained neural data.
